Link Mentorship is a program that matches trained mentors with young men between the ages of 8-18 in the Greater Rochester Area who are in need of encouragement, friendship and positive influence in their lives.

 

A young man can be referred to our program by anyone.  If you know of a young man who would benefit from being paired with a mentor, click the SIGN UP NOW button below.  The mentoring relationship will only begin with a parent or guardian consent.

 

Our mentors are men from local area churches who have been background checked and trained in mentoring a child.  They come from all walks of life, and have one thing in common: a desire to make a positive influence in the life of a young man growing up in the Rochester area.

 

Mentors generally spend 5-8 hours a month communicating with and meeting with their mentee.  Activities can include help with homework, attending local sporting events, hanging out or attending school functions together.  A mentor’s commitment is for a minimum of one year.
